Foo (Fu) Dogs, Chinese guardian lions (石獅; Shíshī) as they are known in colloquial English. These dog statues can be found flanking the entrance of Chinatown or our homes as protectors and to ward off negative synergies. 

 

Our protectors, our love of our lives, ours and ours alone. mi amor! mi amor!! aren't remotely mythical but these fabled creatures are our furry babies!

 

Their unconditional love by our furry Jiātíng towards us hoo-manss is what led Rose Chung and Ethel M.H. Reddy to venture out and do something.

 

Being that they both live and breathe Beauty, Fashion, and Coronation for over 30+ years, they said ahh ahh... a pageant!
